Cleanup crew

I will be buying one soon and was wondering...
Will the critters eat my macro algae.
I have some fan culpra (spelling) that I do not want to eat. I also have some stuff I baught called Red Kelp.
Will they eat all this?

I would say your caulerpa is fair game to clean up critters. The clean up critter to avoid if you want to preserve your macroalgae are emerald (mithrax) crabs. from my own experience anyway these guys really go to town on it.

My hermits leave my grape caulerpa, feather, and halimeda alone.

I think I will take the emrald crabs to the lfs for credit. I realy do not want them anyway. I will be getting the 20-25 lb box of lr and THE BIG 20 BONUS PACK from this site.

Do you think it is possible that they will substitute a anemone shrimp for the 2 emrald crabs?

Hey,
I love my emerald crabs!! They couldn't mow down my calurpa if they did nothing else all day long, AND they eat bubble algae. Real cool to watch and totally reef safe. Just my .02.
