Does anyone know of a good saltwater fish that will clean up leftover food, algae, etc. I have a saddleback puffer so i don't think inverts like sea stars are an option.

Lawnmower blenny would be good for some of teh algae. As for left over meaty food the blenny most likely wouldnt do the trick. You could just get some larger hermits or snails and the puffer will most likely leave them alone.
