Clear Water?

I use RO/DI water and I can never seem to get my tank clear. There is always sand (not very noticeable but if you look closely the water has many particles floating around) due to my fish digging or my goby eating the sand spitting it back out. I also have some sand on my LR. Is there anyway to control this so the tank will get cleaner faster.

You've been on the boards for a while, so you might know this already, but I had the same problem until I put carbon in my sump a couple days ago per someone's suggestion. Now it's clear.

You could try carbon as stated above, but are you sure it's sand particles? Are you sure that they aren't micro bubbles, or photoplankton?
What equipment are you running? Where are you PH's pointing and what is your gph? What size tank?

activated carbon is excellent at polishing the water.
