clips for food?

well i have read in several posts that people use clips to feed their fish, why do they use them? and where do u get them cause i think i might want one for my puffer b/c me just dropping the shrimp in the tank is causing too much of a mess and causing algae everywhere...:notsure:

You could buy one at the chips section in the grocery store, like a chip clip, lol. Or, just go to the lfs. It is more for seaweed, but watever. I did something nifty that is kinda cool. I tied fishing line around a decroation that sits on top of the hood, then tied the other end to the clip. It floats in the water 1/4 of the way down. I never get my hands wet, just pull it up. Its awesome and very nifty, lol.
