Cloralline Algea

My Cloralline algea is grwoing at about 1 inch every for 4 months if even that? the clacium is 450mg/L? Is it normal to grow this slow?

Calcium is only half the battle as Alk seems to be just as important to get the Coreline to take off. what is your alk at.
also what kind of lighting do you have, as intense MH lighting will cause coreline to die off and just grow in the lower light shady areas.

?????Metal Halide will cause the clorilline to die off????....I really couldn't tell you the ALk...Don't have a tester for it
