close call w/tesselata

My big tesselata managed to push open a tank lid early this morning (even though I had a large dictionary keeping it down!). I found him under the couch before I went to work. He was covered in a crusty slime. I put him back in his tank...and in about 20 seconds he started to recover.
Since I had to leave, I have my boyfriend babysitting him now. Anything special I have to do after a bad bout of carpet surfing, or will he be OK?

My tessy did the same thing. They are tough. He'll be okay. As long as hes breathing, he'll most likely recover without a hitch
Good Luck

Thanks. I feel better. Glad I caught him before he dried out. Time for a new plan on the tank lid....

Cinder blocks. Nice red bricks. Have boyfriend sit on top of tank. Give tessy to me. Lower water level in tank. Cross fingers.
just being silly...

Duct tape. Utility clamps. 6lb piece of base rock. Fingers crossed.
