closed loop with SCWD Wavemaker pump size

I'm drilling my tank for a closed loop system. There will be no more than a 3'-0" rise between the pump and the return to the tank. I'm using 1" bulkheads and the 1" SCWD Wavemaker. I'm looking at using the Mag Drive 12. The pump only has a 3/4" inlet and outlet. Is there an advantage to using 1" pipe, bulkheads and SCWD? And the 1" SCWD has a much lower switching frequency than the 3/4". This setup would switch every 1-1/2 minutes, is that a decent rate? Thanks for any input on all of this.

The therory or thought of head pressure loss is negated in a CL system....So not an issue.....As far as the Mag Drive pump it's 3/4" coming off the pump I would adapt it right to 1" pipe. You'll see better flow from the get go going up in size. As far as the SCWD not a big fan, they had issues of longevity of the thing holding up. I would use 1" for returns, but I would drill my drains to my CL pump as big as I could; meaning you want to flood the CL pump with water at all times. On my 240 I used an OceanMotions device, and my drains to the pump were 2".
