Congrats. I almost wished I bought a home now instead of 2 years ago when the market was still hot.

once you sign those papers , get your keys and actually step into YOUR new house then you will have that burden off your shoulders and it feels oh so good......then you get to deal with a whole new set of things that come along with owning your new home, but at least it yours now

thanks guys! its part of the reason i havent been on here so much in the last few months. knowing i had to move, so just maintaining my tank, no new fish, etc. let alone, all the house hunting etc etc
have to beef up the electric before i move in (for the tank)
first things i get are :
1) RO / DI unit
2) tankless water heater

Congrats! I was pretty psyched when buying my house too, and of course, the RO/DI went in pretty quickly.

Hope all goes well and best of luck and all that!!!

Is it new-construction or existing?

but she is in great shape, and nothing like the nightmares in the area that were built in '58-'60 era. pics coming soon

Congrats.
The day we closed on our new house we went shopping, stocked the refrigerator but didn't officially move in. That night someone busted in the front door and stole our refrigerator and left muddy footprints everywhere. Kinda took the thrill out of it.
