Cloud problem?

So I finished adding ona couple parts, mixed my water and finally added my live sand 2 days ago. Problem is, it's still quite a bit cloudy.
Any ideas how I can fix that... I'm really itching to add live rock, but I want to clear the cloudiness first?

mine was still a little cloudy couple days later. I added sand and rock at the same time no big deal i don't think. It may make it more difficult to see your aquascaping though so you will probably rearange it later. I added filter floss in my aquapod which collected alot of the sediment that was clouding the water. don't know what type of tank you have or where you could add floss to but i think it helped.

add a 50 micon filter pad to your water DROP IN point in the sump , that will do it ,less then 24 hours.........clear!!

My good LFS is about 45 miuntes away, so I grabbed a 6 pack of Fluval Water Polishing cartridges that go with their 301/401 series canister filters. I figured I would just stack a couple on each other in my first chamber. Nobody really close had that level of floss it seemed, so that 's about the best I can do for a couple days.
Hopefully that'll do it. Thanks for the idea guys...

no problem, so you know i went to walmart and bought a bag of floss that is used to stuff pillows with and it works the same way and probably a heck of alot cheaper for how long the roll lasts.

you can cut pieces to size and replace with a new piece when needed then wash the used one with a garden hose or soak with alittle bleach and water in a bucket then when white again rinse well , then use again.......for less than $20.00 the roll will last along time..........use just to clear the water , when it's get's out of hand.....works better then FLOSS

That cluodiness is Calcium? Cool I guess. It might be my imagination, but it looks a little clearer this morning... even though it's been only about 12 hours since I put in the sponges.
I'm heading out for LiveRock this evening, so I'm hoping it'll be almost clear when I get home. I wish I had that same Walmart idea yesterday... lesson learned.
