In most cases something in the tank must have changed. Are you missing any livestock? Do you have any snails that appear not to be moving? When was the last time that you did a water change? When was the last time that you cleaned/changed your filter pad? Have you tested the water for ammonia/nitrates/nitrites?

Hey,
Not enough info to even guess. If you have mechanical filtration you might what to add some fresh carbon. I usually run it for a week and then remove it just to "polish" the water a bit. If you view most tanks lengthwise, ie. end to end, you will notice a slight tint to the water that you don't notice viewing it straight on.
