Cloudy Water

Ok, here's my situation, I just got my 135 with 55g sump filled and started, the only thing was I hadn't mixed in the salt before filling, when I went to add the salt the water got extremely cloudy, this was last night and it is still somewhat hazy this morning. The temperature isnt right yet so that may be a factor. The other thing is that there are a ton of small bubbles coming out of the return, which I know how to fix, but could that be causing the cloudiness or has all the salt just not dissolved yet?

I can take a while for all the salt to disipate. The lower temp also causes a slower dissolve rate and you need lots of flow to keep it stirred.

Did you fill the tank with tapwater or RO or what ?
If tap - sometimes our tapwater has very high calcium or alkalinity.
Either one being extremely high can cause cloudy water.
Or as wamp said - could just need to dissolve more.
What saltmix you using ?
