hi my clown just started hosting my frogspawn yesterday and now he has white spots all over him could this be where the frogspawn is stinging him because they didnt appear until he started hosting the frogspawn

No, the frogspawn doesnt pack enough whallop in its sting to bother your clown. the white spots are probably Ich.

I hope you have a QT . Thats sucks , right when your clown hosts it gets ich . Have you added anything to the tank recently ? How are your water parameters ?
