clown and host Q

how long did i take for all of you who have your clowns in anemones for them to accept each other? i put in 2 clowns anda murroon clown the other day with 2carpets and one sabae anemone and none have gone near them

What kind of clowns do you have, I would think with the varity you have one of them would be suitable, or maybe they don't know with one they want to live in. We have clarkie clowns and when we had 2 anomeas they would jump back and fourth between the two. Give it time, Lisa

2 perculas and a muroon

I just added a maroon and a longtenacled
and the clown went to the anemone as soon as
it hit the bottom of the tank..

the percula has been using my plate coral as a host

not all anemonies will host a clown. sometimes its hit or miss. they may not "dive right in" either. give them a bit.
