Clown Burying His Head

My clown is acting wierd and i was wondering if he is causing harm. In the afternoon hrs he will go to his green carpet and stick his head up to his gills into its mouth. Is this normal or is he killing my green carpet. Some times when he pulls his head out he has white stuff in his mouth. He hangs out in the green carpet and it is his home. Please help:help: Thanks

Is either the clown or the carpet showing any ill effects from this activity? If not, it's okay.

No the clown is ok but everyonce in a while the carpet will get ticked and reach over real quick and zap him. And sometimes the carpet will shrink down real small but other times he is fully extended. I guess I will watch and make sure hes ok. :nervous: :scared: Thanks for the reply

Feed the clown more often, it may be after some food or mucus in the mouth of the anemone.

Its the first clown that I know of thats saying "eat me"
