I have a false percula clownfish which was bright orange
I bought another flase percula clown fish and it had darker bands but still bright
I went away on vacation and came home and both fish are darker in pigmentation along it's back side
any ideas what caused it or is it a normal pigment change
depending on how old they are, they might be onyx clowns. onyx clowns are actually orange when young and turn black. also, regular ocellaris clowns get a darker ornage as they age.
do these fish look of the same species?!?!
im nervous now... i posted again that they are fighting...
could i have been lied to and i have 2 different types of clown?
its normal color change. and it looks like they are the same breed, if they are fighting there are probably just establishing who is going to be the boss(female)
