clown & coral host

i recently bought a long tentacle plate coral, & my clown has bonded with this despite the fact he has a bulb & rock anemone in the tank. my question is will he harm the coral? i know some corals dont like to be bothered.

There are 2 very possible outcomes to this. Either the clown is going to kill the plate or the plate is going to eat the clown. I dont see them existing peacefully together.

plate corals are very sensitive and a clown hosting it will probably just end up rubbing the soft skin of the pate and killing it

is there any way to entice my maroon in going to the bubble tip. the plate coral looks awesome and i dont want to loose another $40. nothing ever goes right with saltwater (my flat/bristle worms) & it really breaks the bank. sorry to be so negative, but i do appreciate the info.
