Clown disappeared!?!?

I have a 125g with 180lbs live rock, octopus skimmer. The tank has been running approx 3 months. My parameters have all been consistently 0's except I've had trouble getting my Nitrates under about 30. I had 2 clowns, 3 green chromis, and a melanurus wrasse. 2 days ago one clown disappeared and I cannot for the life of me figure out where it went. He didn't jump out of the tank and I cannot find him dead anywhere in the tank. I assume he is dead in some rock, but who knows. The other fish seem healthy as can be...any advice on why/how this could happen???

It may be dead in the tank. If you have an adequate cleaning crew, you might never find it. In my 180, I rarely find a fish once it's dead. I just know it's gone because I never see it again, the cleaning crew takes care of it. Have you seen an increase in your nitrate levels?
Also, check overflows if you have them, sometimes fish jump in them and then can't get back out.
