Clown Dying ??

I was using 2 clowns to cycle a QT and yesterday noticed one of them sitting on the bottom of the tank leaning against the side glass.
I have another tank (35 hex) that I setup about 2 weeks ago with water/media from a tank that has been established for quite sometime. I had added some live rock on the day of setup and so far it has not shown that it wants to cycle.
All levels are perfect. So I moved this clown over to the 35 Hex thinking that the high levels in my QT were stressing it out. So far she shows no signs of improvement.
Anyone have any idea if it will improve? I know it's hard to predict the outcome. Just wondering if moving her to a tank with perfect levels was the right thing to do.

I have a question... is there anything in this other tank? I mean anything at all? rocks, dead coral, anything? Because if there isn't, he mighta just wanted something to hide behind. Some clowns get very shy at times and just want the ability to hide in or behind something like they do in the wild. Maybe add a pice of decorative dead coral or a piece of rock into it just so they have a hiding place. He coulda been using the corner as a "hiding place" because it was the only crack or crevace to hide in.
Good luck with the new tank :D

Yes I have a piece of decorative coral. Once the tank cycles though, it's coming out and a piece of PVC is going in.
She's been in the 35 hex for about 10 hours now and seems to be doing a little better. She’s hanging around the top of the tank and every once in a while will swim around and explore.

Lots of luck with the hex I also have a 35 gal hex and a 55 gal reg tank. the hex I had nothing but trouble with having to do with the size of the floor of it and the depth of the water (at least thats what was explained to me.). every time I put anything in it my amonia would sky rocket after they would be in it (anything bigger than a damsel that is. maybe it was just me but im not having toruble with my 55 gal i ended up switching my hex to a freshwater. and am having no trouble with it.

Most of the stuff I have read about Hex tanks isn't that the floor is too small, but that the surface area of the water it soo small. You really need a lot of surface agitation and water movement, many people point a powerhead right at the surface, to imporve the gas exchange.
