Clown Fish in trouble

Not sure what it is, basically hasn't eaten since I got him from the lfs 6 days agao, been swimming kinda funny over using his tail it looks like. This morning I noticed he had some white almost looked like skin on his fin and side...kind of peeling off...any ideas...what should I do?

Fish, that is brooklynella and the fish will die if not immediately treated.
Rush to the LFS and pick up formalin. The procedure for threatment is in the FAQ Thread located at the top of this forum.
You will need a deadicated container as well as a means of ciculating the bath water. Formalin depletes oxygen, so you can't leave the fish in the bath without a pump.

Is this contageous to other fish in the tank?

Yes, it could be if the fish have direct contact with one another.
