I came home from my girlfriends place this morning and one of my clownfish jumped out of the back of the tank. Its crazy...I have a canopy and a glass cover. Although I leave the glass cover off the back 3 inches in order for air exchange. That clownfish jumped out through a 3 inch space. I was devestated. The bad thing is that I had mated pair. This evening I went to the LFS and picked up another clown, hoping that the one will not recognize that this new clown is really an imposter.
Its so sad...my girlfriend was so mad...it was her favorite clown...the one that jumped was the female i think because it was the larger of the two...
Hope the new one gets along...

I had a saddleback clown that had disapearred for about 6 weeks
I found him last week, in the overflow.
he jumped in and got sucked into the back, he must been ok on food that got stuck on the sponge and he is still doing well.
Sorry to hear about yours.

My Tomato Clown jumped out of the tank and dried up. I found him a few days later in the back of tank stand dead. I noticed the temperature of my tannk was high, about 80 degrees.
So this is what I did. I went to home depot and bought some window screen. I'm not sure exactly what they are called but they fit behind a window and looks likes a screen.
No more holes to jump out of.
