Those corals clown fish live in are called what again? Also what do you feed those things when put in tank and do they need alot of extra lighting.....
I have 2 clownfish that might want one of them things to hang out in!

Clownfish will accept substitute hosts that are a lot eaiser to care for then an anemone. Mine uses a frogspawn as its host. Others have had them use mushrooms and xenia.
You don't need an anenome. A clown will do just fine without any type of host at all.

will tank raised clowns host with anything? I have heard that they will not, or at least not as easily.

true...not as easily...i've seen tank raised clarki and tomato clowns enjoy sebae anemone's.

I was interested in the pink skunks but this site said they need the host anemone to survive. Has anyone kept them alive without the anemone? I'd love to get a little school of them but if they don't do well without an anemone i'll got to a group of tank raised percs. :(
