clown fish shaking........

i have seen lately that one of my clown fish as soon as the other clown get closer to him. he start like shaking really fast. i have seen that he do that when he saw his reflection in the glass.
i thought that maybe he whant to mate but they are pretty young. both of them are like 2" long and the smaller one is the one doing this things.
what could be that. are they mating? or this is a normal behavior?:notsure:

i do it so that i can get allot of information then posting it and waiting a few hours and such, when it can take a hour,
if it's a f.o do you have anything that the clowns are hosting in???(like a fake plant, pvc pipe, ETC)
what kind of fish do you have in there with the clowns???
what kind of lighting do you have, filteration
how many pounds of lr, and ls do you have
how long has you tank been set up for

well the clown are not hosting anything. they try a fake anemonie like for a week but they seem that they dont like it anymore.
i have a heniochus butterflyfish, yellow tang, and a regal tang, but this last one is going to another tang and im gonna bring a big long-nosed yellow butterflyfish. also i have a cleaner shrimp and some hermit craps
i have (2) 50/50 white/actinic 110w
175 wet/dry w/prefilterbox
tank has been set up since april but all the livestock has been there like for 3-4 weeks
anything else?

do you have any other tanks set up???
the tangs,and butterfly will eat the fry. if you dont have another tank set up it isint worth trying to save them, cause they breed alot. if you get another tank u can put them in there with a piece of pvc and they will most likely hatch in there and it will be easier, they require live baby brine. after a few weeks they will eat baby marine flakes

My male clown does the shakin dance a lot around the bigger female. They've been doing that for the past six months out of the 11 months that I've had them. I have a fo tank and you don't have to PM me or email me if you want more info

Mine have been doing the same little dance. I have a FOWLR tank. They are currently the only fish in there (might be getting a neon goby today) I also have a fire shrimp in there as well. I'd be interested in any info anyone has on what to do if they mate.

im gonna get a QT of 10g maybe 12 just in case i get a new fish or one that i already has need a treatment. can i put them in there so they can do there things in private?
