clown fish transition questions

Got a clownfish yesterday and am not too sure if it is sleeping. Do they like complete darkness. We have seen him swim around the tank even after lights are out late at night and up early in the morning. Is this b/c of the change? He was in the lfs w/ another clown so I'm wondering if maybe he's lonely. He looks kind of freaked out the way he swims around. don't know if im crazy or what.

It sounded that your clown is stressed .. if you can, leave the light off and don't stick your face on the tank when you observing him .. keep a distance for him until he is a bit calm.
How long did you acclimate him? What is your water param and temp?

Sorry so long for the reply. he's doing better. we took the water to get tested in the lfs and they said all was good. thanks!
