clown fish

my gold stripe maroon clown fish picks the sand up with its mouth and goes to the top of the tank and then spits it out all over my tank. is that ok :notsure: :notsure: :notsure: :notsure:

Never seen one do this before... but I guess if it makes him happy and doesn't hurt anything else... then it's okay.

I had a niger trigger do that with my crushed coral substrate. He would make a huge pile in the corner every day and then I'd spread it back out in the tank. It was really quite fun to watch him at work.

My tomato just like to throw sand at me. When ever she see me by the tank she just takes her tail and starts throwing it up against the glass. She has gone all the way down the 6 inch layer of sand and build a pile of sand all the way up to 8 inches high. She definately is no Lady!
