Clown Fish

I just got bought a new clown fish to pair with my other one. They are not getting along though, but they are not fighting either. The female just is not letting the male come down into the rocks. If anybody has tried pairing clown fish before please tell me how your exprience went and offer me some suggestions please. Anything well be helpful....

and has anybody ever had a pair of clown fish that didnt like each other before they had pair

It can take 2 weeks or more to pair them they say. How much size differance is there in them? If she does not kill him in 2 to 3 days he should be ok

The female is about 4 in and the male is about an inch

I wa told to buy two and the same time or I would have to just have one.

I added my male well after the female was established. But he was small like what you said. about 3 to 1 at least. There was no problem after the first few days. Now they are living in the RBTA and he rarey leaves it.
