Clown Gobies and SPS

Hey guys ... I picked up a couple yellow clown gobies about 2 weeks ago, and since then my SPS pretty much have no polyp extension. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this, and if the SPS will get used to it over time and begin to extend their polyps? Thanks in advance!

i have heard that they will nip but do no irreparable damage to the coral. who knows the real answer.........do you have a frag tank then put him in their to see if anything happens.

I do not have a frag tank yet, but I have observed some "nipping" which looks more like they are eating small particles off the SPS like cleaning it. I've seen lots of pictures of clown gobies in SPS and their polyps are fully extended. Hoping mine will do the same, thanks for the info though guys! Anyone else have experience to share?

4 acros
1 blue mille
2 digis
1 cap
and that's it as far as SPS ... not a lot right now, but it's growing quickly, so that's why I want to know if I need to take the gobies out or not.

I wouldn't buy em but I have had one small green clown come with a colony I bought. This one didn't bother my corals, if your are then I'd remove em.

Here is my story, got a tiny green clown gobie, lives in a acro colony and does no harm to any of my sps. I saw a large yellow clown goby with blue stripes on the face and had to have it, shortly after sps started to look bad, saw it nipping stuff and constanly moving from one coral to the next, had two start to STN, moved the goby out and all the corals are bouncing back.
I won't get anymore personally, but I am keeping the little green one.
