I have a tank raised faulse perc. He has been in my tank for a few mts now and lately he is trying to host in my flowerpot coral. This is fairly normal for clowns to try to host various types of corals. I want to know if him doing this could stress my coral? The tenticles recede a little but come right back out. Also how common is it for a tr perc to host anything?

it is very common for a clown to use gonipoura (flower pot) to host. Sadly it causes the flower pot unnecessary stress and it is difficult enough to keep them in captivity. There isnt enough evidence to say that they kill them however.
All the best,
Tim.
