I have a pair of Ocellaris clowns in a 29g. Today, I noticed that the tailfin of the larger clown has a small, white-speckled line right where the black turns into the clear outercoat. Is ich or sand normally located there? She and the other clown have no other white specks on them. I also noticed today that the female is brushing/fanning the same spot in the sand with her fin. She's also shaking, which I read can be common around mating time. I don't know whether the speckled line is sand, ich, or something else. I hadn't seen the line before today. She is eating and acting normally. Of course, I'll continue to watch for white spots to show up. Does anyone have any thoughts on this? Thanks in advance!
