How big is the female? I would try to get the male small enough where it's noticeable but not to small or else she might pick on him.

3 1/2" to 4" i was thinking one around 2" or so what do you think

ok i went and bought her a mate roughly1" smaller maybe a little smaller and they went to fighting right off..i know if you turn the lights off they will stop fighting, my question is should i let them decide who is who or should i turn the lights off untill tomarrow??
