my clownfish just started hosting my sebae anemone after having it about a month. i have two true percula clowns and only one has hosted, will the other one host too?
like if they pair up
also, it keeps putting itself upside down...
like i moved it the right way up then it'll flip over again and stick its foot in the air....
anything wrong or is it just being weird?

Leave it alone. The more you touch and mess with it the bigger the chance it will not acclimate itself. Just let it be, it may roam, it may float, it may get sucked up in your powerhead or overflow if you don't have them protected. But eventually on it's own it will find a place it likes to be and plant itself.

Yeah, those clowns can be "anemone sluts" like that...lol. IME though, I like to only have one anemone per tank.

I have three bubble tips in my tank, the clowns swim between the three all the time. I had one host much quicker than the other, but the other should eventually host as well.
As to it moving around, leave it alone. The more you mess with it, the more it will move.

Cool to hear 3 work for you in one tank. Just IME with more than one wasn't as good. I moved them to various tanks. Yours all the same type of BTA?

Yeah, I know it doesn't work for some people. I have two green BTA's and one huge Rose (I wish it would just split already).
I started with two green BTA's because they were small and my one clown is not very good with the whole sharing idea. Then I added the RBTA because it's beautiful and got it for an amazing deal. I had all three in a 40G, now they're in a 155G along with a mini carpet anemone. I think I'm just lucky, mine don't move around too much and have never stung any of my coral.

I love a Rose Tip ***Drool*** After I move in a few weeks, my favorite LFS is getting in a RBTA and Medium Green Carpet for me. Maybe I'll try more than one in a tank again...it's been awhile. Thanks for the thought seed...

yeh them RBTA are beautiful, my LFS has one in its display tank and its amazing, it host some true percs aswell, fully grown perfect percs at that.
yeh the anemone is still moving around now and ima just leave it. it keeps going towards this cave tho, where it was for about a week then it came out cos there was no light in there.
also yeh my other clown went in last nite, for a while.havent seen him go in yet today but nevertheless he went in:)
my GBTA is hidining in a crevice with little light, but it seems to be happy there, and i dont think my clowns have even noticed it yet, it's been there a couple weeks. but its sorta like my manderin/wrasse territory round there lol.
im pretty happy they hosted the sebae tho, cos its a beautiful anemone just ppl told me its rare to see clowns host them.
