clown pair question

ok so i have had this clown for three years and tried to get another one once and it died (dont no y) and i was wondering if i could get another clown to go with the one i have and if so wat would b the best way to introduce him and if possible i would like to get a black one can i do that

from what ive heard your supposed to get them together or else the one thats been in the tank for a while will kill the noob

Just make sure that the new clown you purchase is much smaller then the clown you already have....I believe that will make it easier for them to get along because the small one will give in to the larger one. If they are the same size, they might fight to figure out who is dominant.
What kind of clown do you currently have?

Another suggestion is when you add the new clown, move your rocks and such around so the old clown isn't so territorial.

Add one that's smaller and there's a good chance they'll pair up.
