Clown question

I have a maroon clown that has taken home to a flowerpot coral.Is this common or do I have a goofy clown.

That is not that strange. I have had clowns take to several different types of corals. Enjoy it while it lasts. Sadly, it is very likely that your flower pot coral will eventually waste away and die. As a newbie, I fell victim also. I was attracted to their cool look. Unfortunately, I wasn't aware that they are nearly impossible to keep. It is a shame that they are being sold at all. Who knows, maybe your flower pot will be the 'freak' and survive. I'm just reporting what I have read and what I have experienced.

flowerpot coral???? never heard of it.... does it have another name? If not post a pic. i would like to see it.

Flower Pot is another name for Goniopora.
