Clown question?

I just got a new black and white clown and he is staying in the same spot in the tank and just swimming up and down in the same spot. Is this normal?

yep .... he has to adapt to the new surroundings.

Ok, this morning he is hideing behind the rocks and he did not come out to eat?? is this normal for him?

It took my clown a few days to start swimming in more than one spot. Maybe he was sleeping this morning when he didnt come out? I wouldnt really worry yet.

Is he breathing really quickly? Does he look thin and/or weak?
They do swim differently than other fish which could make them look sick.
