clown shrimp

was thinking bout getting a clown shrimp cause my chocolate chip is eating my coral and sand sifting snails. i also have a serpent and a sand sifting star, will the shrimp eat them too.

I'm guessing you're referring to Hymenocera elegans/H. picta AKA the harlequin shrimp.
Your sifter will be toast for sure, as will the CC star. Brittles are a bit faster and may or may not become prey.
Since the "harley" is an obligate starfish predator, you'll need to pass it on or continue feeding it sea stars. Some specimens will actually take thawed starfish pieces, so you could buy cheap stars and cut them up.
