clown sleep?

my clown fish continually swims in the same spot at nite, he doesnt seem to stop swimming. Do they normally swim while sleeping? I have woken up at various times of the nite and noticed he is continually moving. I've only had him for 5 days.

Yes, they will still swim while sleeping - although they usually stay in one spot. The only time i've seen mine not move at all when sleeping is when he started hosting my BTA, now at night he tucks himself into the tenticles and doesn't move all night.
I see my damsels do the same, they swim in one place all night.
