Clown Sweetlips in a bad way

To set the preface of the story: I have had my tank set up for a couple years now, but haven't had any fish in it for a few months; just a couple peppermint shrimp and a flame lobster. I was ready to stock the tank again, so i went to my LFS yesterday and picked up a juvenile Clown Sweetlips. It was doing great last night, even eating live brine shrimp. I woke up this morning to find it missing its tail fin and it's fins tattered. I assume it was the flame lobster, so i got rid of it immediately. My question is this: Will the sweetlips grow its tail fin back? Is there anything i should do to speed/aid it's recovery?
Here are some before/after pics of the sweetlips.

Yes it will grow back it will just take time and pristine water and a good diet. You should soak its food in vitamins and garlic. I do have one question Clown Sweetlips grow very large what size tank do you have?

What kind of vitamins? Im assuming this is all sold at my LFS. I have him in a 30g right now, but i know i will need to upgrade the tank. I have a 75g freshwater with a tiger oscar in it, as some other cichlids, that need to be moved to a bigger tank as well. My plan is to eventually get a bigger tank for the fresh and move the salt to my 75g. Thank you for your response, Mr. limpid! (thats a great name btw)

Many people don't remember that move.
As for vitamins your LFS should have it, don't remember the brand name. As for the garlic don't buy the stuff they sell to expensive and it to old. This what I do, use the cup that laundry soap gives you (unused) pour in a little RO water squeeze a clove of fresh garlic into water chop up your food then using a brian shrimp net squeeze out the garlic water into another cup, soak the food in this water 15 to 20 min, strain out water feed to fish.
