Clown Trigger and Food

What do yall feed yours? They was feeding him flake and emerald entree at the LFS. I dont want to feed live fish. Would krill and silversides be ok?

When I had mine, he would eat anyting I droped in the tank. I mainly feed shrimp,plankton,formula 1 & 2, & he seemed happy, though a little mean to my purple tang, so he's no long w/ us.

How large is he?
I'd feed Krill, chopped shrimp, clams, mussels; if he's smaller then cubes.

Ok. I just read in the last post he's 2 1/2 inc. You can do cubes too of different stuff. I think they even have trigger formula at some places that contain urchin.

I just dropped a krill in there and he ate it so thats good. yeah he is like 2 1/2 to 3 in long. He is really active. Swimming in all the crevices and stuff in the tank. When I find my calbe to connect my camera to pc I will send some pics.

That's good he's eating. Ensure you fortify your krill and try to mix up his diet also. Good Luck!

Hey he ate another krill this morning. I was feeding the eel a silverside and put 1 in for the trigger but he didnt seem to like it just ate the krill. How and what should I fortify the krill with?

My trigger is a hog. Yesterday morning he ate 1 krill, 1 silverside, and 1/2 of a frozen brine shrimp cube. He acted like he ws still hungry but I didnt give him anything else cause there was a lil bulge in his belly. When I went to wjork last night I gave him the other half of the shrimp cube. Im going ot get some squid and clams today to add to his variety.:hilarious :hilarious
