Clown Trigger & Emperor Angel

What are your thoughts on these fish together in a 300 gallon aquarium, dimensions (8 feet long, 2 feet wide, 30 inches tall)
Emperor Angel (adult)
Clown Trigger
Lunar Wrasse
Tomato Clownfish
Porcupine Puffer
Regal Tang (pallete)
Yellow Tang
Lionfish
My main concern is, will the Clown Trigger be too aggressive and stressful to the Emperor Angel?
Does anyone see problems with this choice of fish for my tank size?
Am I putting the health of the other fish at high risk by adding the angel? I read they get ich easy. I used to have a emperor angel in a 110 gallon tank with a yellow tang, tomato clownfish, and lunar wrasse and it died a week after I got it from ich.
Please give me some suggestions, tips and advice.
thanks

angels and tang are easy to get ick but the tang is really bad when it comes to ick ,but i hav one you should get a uv it would help with the ick , but gettting a clowntrigger and a those fish i would try to get the other fish bigger ,or put the clowntrigger in last

uv lights? are these the same as vho lights? tell me more about them and their benefits? do they really help alot in preventing ich? are there any disadvantages to them?

they kill most germs in the water as they pass through the ultraviolet light, it can keep the ick down alot but kills all other diseases, like fungus etc. it is good investment for the fish you have ! :D

oh i forgot to add another thing that is great to hav is a protein skimmer i just got one and it keeps the tank real clean because i hav messy eaters

also, what are your thought of adding cleaner wrasse in the tank, would they help the angel and tang not get ich, or would they stress them out by picking at them all the time? i had a angel and cleaner wrasse before they had ich and the wrasse was picking at them all the time, the angel and tang both died, i don't know if the ich hadd just set in too bad, or if the cleaner wrasse made it worse by picking at them, what do you all think? how many cleaner wrasse would i need?

cleaners won,t keep ick from fish they pick at the germs on the fishes skin but they won,t prevent ick at all ,but they are cool fish to hav and they won,t bother the other fish at all if the fish doesn,t like them they stay away , i had one and he was awesome but feel victim to my triggers just watch the clowntrigger they are know to swim by and take bites at other fish they are slick !so the cleaner might think it is ok to clean the trigger and as soon as you know there goes your cleaner

usually you cant keep tangs or angels with triggers or puffers casue there messy eaters also triggers usually pick on puffers but in this size tank everythng might work out the fish might have enough room and feeding may not be a problem with 300 gallons.

due to the messy eaters i've decided to revise my list and du to ich prone i have decided to eliminate one of the tangs, my new list of fish for this tank is:
Emperor Angel
Yellow Tang
Tomato Clownfish
2 percula clownfish
1 red firefish
1 purple firefish
orange spotted goby
blue cheek goby
is this a better selection and more suitable for the emperor? should i get cleaner wrasse with these? i guess i should say the one fish i can't live without is the emperor angel, so what ever will be best for him.

They would be good together,I wouldn't go with the fire fish, they are too shy.If your going with non aggressive fish I would get another tang, that is from a differant genus from the yellow tang, like a sohal, naso,or you could even get away with a purple if you put the purple and yellow in at the same time.Add the Emperor Angel last, because they can become very aggressive if they are in the tank before every one,the same goes for the sohal,if you got one.You can get alot more fish than what you put on your list, the fish you want aren't messy eaters.

I am now on my second clown trigger. I have him in with a tomato clown and a yellow tail blue tang. Being I got both of my triggers when they were smaller than the rest all went well and I have not had any problems with them getting along. So The smaller the clown trigger the better, He will be as active as the larger ones and will get used to the company as he grows.
For ick treatments I basically got some cleaner shrimp and I am looking for a cleaner wrasse to aid in any parasites. From all I have read and heard the cleaner wrasse loves to eat ick and the other fish dont mind letting one pick at their gills to get em.

I have a tang in my tank so the cleaner shrimp are there as my clean up crew, as for adding it with the trigger...they work fine together. They don't get bothered by the trigger at all, he's too busy pokin about the lr to care about them.

i'm intrested to hear about the shrimp with the clown trigger...who was in the tank first? how big is the trigger? i am considering a similar mix for a 200g tank i have. right now i have a sailfin tang, rainbow wrasse, lionfish and grouper. i think i have decided to boot the grouper, so i can actually ADD another fish or two. I plan on adding an emporer angel next, followed by possibly a puffer or yellow tang, and finally my snowflake eel and a clown trigger. what do you guys think? i would like to keep cleaner shrimp- but....

I would not do shrimp in a tank with triggers or lionfish. They will certainly be lunch for either one of them. Lionfish prefer live food, so your little shrimpy cruising the tank will look mighty tasty to Mr. Lionfish....

Ok well here's the deal. I put the trigger and the shrimp both in at the same time, and the shrimp are actually double the size of the trigger. I know that some time down the road there is the chance that my trigger is going to look at the shrimp and think "mmmmm...lunch and dinner!" but I have 2 other tanks for when this happens.
I always buy groups of fish and inverts so they have that 6% chance of getting along and as for my trigger My wife likes them when they are very small (this one is the size of a nickel) I'm still new to figuring out what works with what but I have learned from experience that if I put things in together they have that small shot to get along.

Just wanted to add that when the shrimp shed they are vulnerable and they basically come out at night (I have noticed) In the same token they stick arround my long tentacle anemone during the day.
