Clown Trigger for $65...Do I buy it?

I have a 55 gallon (I know, too small for a Clown Trigger, but I could upgrade soon). My lfs has what I consider a pretty amazing deal on this fish. He is small right now (1.5 inches) and they have had him for over 1 month. I have seen him eat and he very healthy. I wondered: should I buy him, and when he grows large enough to not get eaten, could he live happily with a 5 inch V-tail Grouper (Assumimg that my QTed Grouper starts eating again)? Also, how fast do these fish grow? Thanks for the advice!

well i dunno hwo much the shipping is on this website, i forget but they have a clown for 49 bucks but then you got shipping which i am assuming is about 30 bucks so go ahead get that clown, they grow as fast as you feed them, i have had mine since like december and he doesnt even look as if he grew a centimeter lol, clowns are on the more aggressive side so be careful, but that is a good deal, because believe when i say that the prices go up in the winter

If he's the fish you really want, and is eating heathily with good color and behavior I'd do it. But only if your going to move him to a bigger tank in time. Triggers as a whole are an agressive fish that grow quite large in a relatively short time.

I think that I am gonna buy him tommorrow...that is, if he is dtill there. I sure hope so. Getting a larger tank is constantly on my list of things to do so that won't be a problem. It will give me an excuse to get another tank. Thanks for the advice everyone! I will let you know when I get him.
