Clown trigger growth and maturity?

I keep reading that the clowns are nasty. Mine is a 3.5"-4" baby, and he is in clearly in charge of any food that falls on the bottom (cockles in shell, thawed krill) and will chase off other fish till he's done, but other than that, he doesn't bother anybody yet.
My question: at what age do they develop adult coloration, and how fast do they grow?

An urchin is filet mignon to a trigger. They normally reach maturity around 3 inches, but you never know when a juvenile will mature in a tank.
