How long would you be able to keep a Clown Trigger in a 75 gal, before upgrading to a bigger tank. My LFS has a 3 inch Clown fo $70.00 dollars. I would like to get him. I am thinking of getting abigger tank but not for a year at least.

IMO a 75 would work for a year, if it is starting off a 3 in I don't think it will outgrow it before then. Just watch what you put in with it, they get aggresive as they get bigger. Good Luck

they get up to 20 inches , remember the more you feed him or her the bigger he will get and fast , but the fish is awesome , i love mine well good luck , oh don,t let clowntrigger fool you because they act all nice at first and sneek up on other fish and take bites <img src="graemlins//yell.gif" border="0" alt="[yell]" /> :p

Clown Trigger will gash your hand in some occasions if your not careful on choice, get the one that is the least agressive you can find.

The clown is going to be one of the more (Queen's and undulates seem to rule the roost) aggressive triggers out there, but every one has their own personality. Niger's are one of the more layed back triggers. Bursa's-middle of the road.
Triggers are cool and it always gets back to individual personality, but let's face it, in general, comparing aggression is like assessing the damage between a land mine and a fragmentation grenade: they both do damage, it's just a question of how much.
