clown trigger in trouble-need help

hi need some quick help have a 5 inch clown trigger he is in with yellow tang, piacsso and niger trigger had them about 6 months every once in a while clown trigger gets a few spots of ick clears up couple days anyway today his skin was peeling was on his side thought he was a gonner changed 10%water added some melafix has since perked up what would cause his skin to peel also 2 days ago added some kick-ich normal strength n tests are fine ph 8.3 salinity 1.023 triggers aren"t scaleless so meds should not hurt them all others look great thanks for helping

He likely had an adverse reaction to the "reef safe" meds.
I would suggest treating all your fish appropriately with hyposalinity. What type of tank do you have?

have 3 triggers in a 60 gal tank been in there for 6 months just never seen their skin shed all others seem fine

Can you post a picture of the problem? Is that a fish only tank, live rock? What is in the tank?

digital camera is down its fish only 50 lbs live rock unfortunately clown trigger was dead this morning still trying to figure out what made his skin peel but other 2 triggers and yellow tang are fine ????????????
