Clown Trigger Tankmates

My current tank is a 100 gal FOWLR, but it currently searching for either a used 150 or 180. I plan on purchasing a juv. clown trigger and letting him grow. This should buy me some time before he starts feeling cramped in the tank.
Since Clown Triggers are aggressive and territorial, I understand that he should be added last to the tank. So, what should go in first? My first fish is a 10" snowflake eel. I'm thinking that I would like to have maybe one or two more fish with the clown trigger which will be king of the tank. Any recommendations? Would a Huma Huma trigger result in all out war? Would a dog faced puffer be aggressive enough to fend off the clown?

Anthem...What I meant was that the clown would be the focal point of the tank and I could adjust the other fish around him. Also, Anthem, my lfs did a complete water change on last Friday. I still don't know what was in the water, but the tank looks to be back in good shape. I added the eel back in on Sunday and he seemed very pleased to be out of his plastic prison in the reef tank. Probably going to wait until mid April, after vacation, to add any more fish.
Just did some "searching" through past posts and found a nice setup. What would you guys think of this combination:
Clown Trigger
Huma Huma Trigger
Lionfish (Ant.)
Snowflake Eel.
The post said that the key was to make sure that the two triggers are added at the same time and that the clown is a little smaller than the Huma.
This would be a colorful and active (at least the triggers would be) combination.
Comments?

ass long as your lion is bigger than the clowntrigger there shouldn,t be a problem i hav 3 of the more aggresiive trigger plus a niger trigger with a sfe and a lion fish and they don,t bother the lion but it is better for the lion to big much bigger because the clowntrigger is known for being nice and out of no where bite the fish of the other fish :D

Clowntrigger2k.....
What I'm looking for is a colorful and active tank. I originally thought I wanted a puffer, but after watching them at my lfs, they tend to lay around alot. What would you think of a clown trigger with a dog faced puffer? What are some compatable tankmakes, other than lions and other triggers?
Sounds like you've had good luck with multiple triggers. If you had your chance, would you do it again or what combination would try?

Has anyone had experience with a Coral Trout Grouper? One of my magazines recommended them as great aquarium fish, if you have the room. They are bright red with blue spots.

I have a clown, a huma, and a dogface puffer. The puffer rules the tank. Do add the clown last, it worked for me.

Demodan,
How long have you had that combination? I bet that looks great in your tank. What are the sizes of the three fish?

i like the panther grouper for a larger tank with triggers, i'd say picasso or niger triggers and larger puffers should do well with a clown, lionfish can be hit and miss, but i would try them also

ok if i were to doit again i would but the clowntrigger
dogface puffer
nice french angel or a blue angel
a tusk
a nice eel
lionfish
i forgot how big is your tank ,but if you want to add color get a aggressive angel, but remember to get them bigger than the clowntrigger,i,am thinking of moving my undulated and my huma to another tank to get a nice angel :D

Angels are beautiful, but everything I have read and heard says that they require special diety requirements. Maybe this is as simple as just throwing in a cube of vegetable based food. I enjoy messing with my fish but having to plan their diet is something I will wait on for retirement (in about 30 years!)....Heck, I can't even do a good job of planning my own diet! LOL

Bluegoose,
I have had the huma and the puffer about six months. I had to convert a 75 from fresh to salt for them, they are growing fast. I got the clown three weeks ago. The triggers are both about 3.5 inches, and the puffer is 5. The puffer is getting fat, too. My next fish will be a spiny puffer, after I move. When I move into my house, the aggressive fishies go into a 180 I have waiting, and over time the 75 is going to be a reef.

OK NOT ALL ANGEL NEED SPECIAL FOODS
FRENCH ANGELS
BLUE ANGELS
KING ANGELS
KORAN ANGELS
EMPEROR
I HAV HAV THESE ANGELS AND HAV FEED THEM FROZEN SHRIMP AND BRINE SHRIMP ALSO FLAKES WITH ALL GOOD RESULTS, BUT THE OTHER ANGELS ACT LIKE BUTTERFLY JUST DOWN RIGHT PICKY WHEN IT COMES TO FOOD
