i'm no expert, but from everything i've read on this board. the clown trigger needs a lot bigger tank then a 55g. it also is best kept in a species(sp?) only tank.

Clown triggers get quite large, your going to need a bigger tank to keep this beautiful fish long term. What else do you have in the tank? These fish have a high likelyhood of showing very aggresive behaviour so much caution is needed.
From reading and experience, these fish can turn tempermentally on a dime, acting quite normal with your picasso for some time, then picking his teeth with him in a moments notice.
If it is a Juvenile Clown Trigger, you have more time but they have very high mortality rates (low survivability chances.)
Hope this helps!

i have a clown trigger in a 30 gallon. With a panther grouper. ONLY because my 110 gallon go ich and my panther was doing aweful. I found a clown trigger at ***** for 25.00 about 1.5 inches.. couldnt resist. Bought him and added it about a month ago.. Grows very slowly so far, but am putting him in the 110 in a lil while gonna make sure the tank is perfect i dont wnt to lose either of them.. but a small clown will be fine in a 55 but upgrade is inevitable in the future.. good luck.. will get along with huma.. take huma out nd put them in a bucket or small tank together for a few hours... then place together in big tank should workQ
god luck :)
