Clown trigger

I think that jwtrojan was right getting rid of the fish after a short period of time is wrong so i bought another 120 gallon and i was intrested in buying a tiny clown trigger that the lfs had had for like 5 months now i say it yesterday but went today and it was sold yesterday lol talk about bad luck. Well to the point i was reading about it and they say that the juvenile clown triggers have an extremely hight death rate an that is y they are not nearly as exspensive as the medium ones is this true i thought all triggers were extrmely hardy? and if this is true y would it just be this species and not the the huma or the niger or the undulated or others?

I was doing further research and found that some are collected with cyanide as babys and then die. It also says a good sign is the price the cheaper it is the more likely it is to be caught by cyanide. this really pisses me off if this is true because i just spent 50 bucks on a fish that i thought i was getting a good deal on the fish store ordered it for my about 4 hours ago. But is this true in all cases the fish they had before was a baby clown trigger as well and it lived for like 3 months in the pet store in a 5 gallon before being sold yesterday does this fish have a good chance of living wat do u think the chances are thanks for any reply im really nervous i know 50 isnt that much but im only 16 with out a job lol the 500 gallon shark tank is my dads and so is the 100 gallon tang tank the 120 is mine tho i really did purchase that as an early christmas gift but dam i dont wanna lose this fish. Is there anything i can do will it live if the water quality is great and once again is this info i found true i hope not. Thanks

That is all true for the mostpart. That's why you try and get them from the red sea. Off the coast of Thailand, they usually poison them and net them when they float to the surface. Red seas are usually just caught. I used to have a clown about 14 inches. He was huge. Had him several years. Absolutly awesome fish. By far, my favorite.

So wat are the chances do u think of this one having that problem the last one they had was extremely nice and was alive in the fish store for like 5 months so i dont think that one had it but also i think that u get wat u pay for why is this fish 50 when others like it are up to 100. ?

I recently bought a $50 clown trigger from a store that had a large shipment of them. This should have been a red flag, but I bought one and two months later it started to grow some type of bump on its head. It didn't take long for it to die after that. It was the it was the only fish to die at the time. I would spend a little more and get an older trigger instead of risking it.
