Clown with a black spot?

Hi Guys,
Just noticed over the past week that my percular clown has one single black spot on one of his sides. Any ideas what it is? Im not overly worried as he is fine and eating well, just curious?

Well you can just see the black dot just about the white bit. Any ideas?

Is it just an odd sikn discoloration, or does it look like a growth, etc?
How old is the clown? Young clowns have many coloration changes as adolescents.

Nope it hasnt grown over the past few weeks.
I guess the clown could be a year old max? I bought him young about 9 months ago maybe.
COuld perhaps be just some discolouration?

If it is just a dark skin color I wouldn't worry abou t it at all. If it is a malformation or causing a protrusion of irregular skin texture, than you have a problem.

no its just like a pigment. Ill keep an eye on it but i think it is nothing to worry about.
