Clown with insomnia :(

I just got a clown(False) yesterday and last night when i went to bed at 2:30am(Lights go out in the tank at 12:01am) i noticed he was still up. I thought this was strange so i set my alarm for 4am and low and behold when i got up to check on him he was still awake swiming around like it was mid-day. What is wrong with my little guy? Is that normal?

My false perc does it also.I kinda thought he would go in a hole to sleep.Beats me....

Same here, thats what all my other fish(crapy damsels) do.

He's probably just getting used to the tank. I think he'll settle down. When he gets tired enough, he'll welcome lights out.

My new clowns used to swim all over the place nonstop. After a couple of days, they finally got used to the schedule that I have with their lights and they also were used to their surroundings...they like to sleep under the "tunnel" I created with live rock. In the morning when it is time to feed them, they will immediately swim to the top of the tank...it's so cute how they beg for food minutes after I turn the lights on.
