Clown with my goniapora...

One of my clown's is trying to host my goniapora. He seems very into it. I guess I should look into an Anemome. It would be very cool to keep an anemome, but they seem tough. The one we had at work died in less than 3 weeks. It was a mess.

Your goniopora will slowly get smaller and smaller. They don't like to get beat down like that. I know I have a gonio and 2 perc clowns and about 10 months ago the gonio was about the size of a softball, now it is the size of an orange. Try moving it around, it confused my clowns. The one would go back to the spot and hover. They found it later but don't seem do dive into it and nestle like a pig in @#$%.
I've tried a couple of anenomes, but they don't care.
I might try a green carpet if I see one.

Anemones tend to be very difficult to keep and require VERY intense lighting.
I agree with the suggestion of a toadstool leather or some hairy shrooms for your clowns to host in. Other options would be a bubble, torch or hammer coral.

Go with a toadstool. They are inexpensive and once they get used to the clown, they are very durable.
