I have a clownfish that is eating and swimming good. That seems healthy. However she goes to the bottom and lays down on the sand on here side. Is this normal?

How long have you had her? What are your water parameters? The first night I had my mated pair, I couldnt find the female and I looked through the side of the tank and she was laying down on the sand (looks like she was wedged next to a rock too). I think they just do funny things at night. Was this happening at night?

I have had my mated pair for 14months. My water parameters are ph 8.2 ammonia 0.25 nitrite 0 nitrate 0. The tempture is 79 and the sg is 1.024. No she does it different times threw out the day.

Like I said, mine only lays down to sleep at night. Umm, the only thing that looks off to me is your ammonia. As I am sure you know, it should be zero. Have you added anything else new to the tank or moved anything around recently?
Maybe you can do a water change to try to get that ammonia back down to zero.
I wouldnt worry too much as long as she is eating and swimming good.
