Clownfish Breeding

I am very interested in breeding some clownfish. I was wondering if anybody could give me some tips and advice on how to do this because i dont know how. I do not have an anemone. Do i need one to breed them or can i just breed them in a breeder tank?

have you read the book "clownfishes" by Joyce D. Wilkerson? It goes in depth on how to breed clownfish. you dont have to have an anemone for clownfish to breed and depending on the fish you have in your main tank you could keep them in there. Are your fish agressive?

i dont have the fish yet, but i wanted to know how to breed them before i get them.

what type of clowns do u want? they all pair up diffrently unless your buying a pair than it just takes time.
